Utah State University STARS! GEAR UP will host five camps on the Logan campus this summer. Registration is open to students in these participating schools. Camps offer students the chance to live on campus, take fun grade-specific classes, discover and develop skills, and meet other students from across the state. This year’s selections include:

While at camp, students will participate in academic classes, college mentoring, and leadership development. College professors will teach camp classes and college students will act as counselors. One of the amazing things about these camps is that they are FREE. All meals and camp supplies will be provided by USU STARS! GEAR UP, a federally-funded program that was designed to help students prepare for and succeed in college. GEAR UP is a highly competitive grant program that helps empower local partnerships comprised of schools, institutions of higher education, state agencies, and community organizations.

Each camp is designed specifically for USU STARS! GEAR UP by our partners, including USU’s College of Engineering and College of Science, to inspire learning, explore new ideas, and help students do better in school. To apply, use the APPLY NOW button for the camp that you want to attend and fill out the corresponding form. To learn more about each camp, visit our website and watch the videos. You can also see what our camps are like by visiting our YouTube channel. We recommend applying early since camps fill quickly.
